Course overview
Welcome to NC Math 3, a comprehensive high school math course developed to support home school students. This course is aligned with the standards developed by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) and builds upon the concepts learned in NC Math 1 and NC Math 2.

Throughout this 36-week course, students will explore a variety of topics including algebraic expressions, functions, geometry, statistics, and more. By engaging in problem-solving activities, real-world applications, and collaborative learning experiences, students will develop critical thinking, reasoning, and analytical skills essential for success in higher mathematics and beyond
This course follows the standards set by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as outlined on their website (https://www.dpi.nc.gov/). The syllabus may be subject to minor adjustments to align with the specific needs and pacing of the students. The course materials and resources will be provided within the online learning platform, ensuring students have the necessary tools to succeed in their NC Math 3 journey. This is not an accredited course by the NCDPI; however, we strive to follow the standards as close as possible and prepare students for EOC testing.
